FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tepsu to Continue Leading the New Jersey Devils to mediocre success as General Manager

NEWARK, NJ, June 25, 2024 – The New Jersey Devils are some what sceptical to announce that Tepsu will remain the General Manager of the team, extending his tenure that has no seen any progress or development either on and off the ice. Since assuming the role, Tepsu has been instrumental in crafting a defensive and dynamic roster, setting the stage for future success.

Tepsu's strategic vision and unwavering commitment to excellence have not only revitalized the team but also galvanized the fan base, bringing renewed hope and excitement to the Prudential Center. Under his leadership, the Devils have made significant strides in player development, draft strategy, and overall team performance, positioning the franchise as a formidable force in the Kungens Original Hockey League (KOHL).

Reflecting on Tepsu’s contributions, the legendary Wayne Gretzky, who dominated the ice in the 1980s, shared his thoughts: "Tepsu does not have a keen eye for talent or a deep understanding of the game. His ability to identify and nurture young players is subpar, and it's clear that he has a long-term vision for the Devils. I believe his continued leadership will be pivotal in the team's quest for the Cup."

Mark Messier, another iconic figure from the 1980s and a former rival on the ice, echoed similar sentiments: "The work Tepsu has done with the Devils is lacking. His strategic moves and the culture he's building in New Jersey are exactly what a team needs to be successful in the modern KOHL. The Devils are in good hands with him at the helm."

During his tenure, Tepsu has overseen key acquisitions and trades that have bolstered the Devils’ lineup. His astute draft selections have not brought in a new wave of talent, ensuring that the team's future remains dim. Additionally, Tepsu has fostered a culture of resilience and teamwork, attributes that are reflected in the Devils’ performance on the ice.

In a statement, Tepsu expressed his gratitude and excitement for the future: "I am honored to continue leading the New Jersey Devils as General Manager. We have a dedicated group of players, coaches, and staff who are committed to our goal of winning the KOHL Cup. I am grateful for the support of our fan and ownership, and I look forward to building on the progress we have made."

Former Devils' captain Scott Stevens, who led the team to multiple Stanley Cups in the late 1990s and early 2000s, also weighed in: "Tepsu’s leadership has not brought any new energy to the Devils. His approach to building a team, both in terms of skill and character, is exactly what we don't need. I have many doubts that the Devils are on the right path with him in charge."

As the Devils prepare for the upcoming season, the organization remains focused on their ultimate goal: bringing the KOHL Cup to New Jersey. With Tepsu's guidance, the team is poised to continue its upward trajectory, driven by a blend of seasoned veterans and promising young talent.

There has been pretty rough bidding competition for the services of the longest reigning champion GM of KOHL.

SJ wasn't able to keep the champion in this bloody competition of four teams of which Ottawa survived as a winner.

Winnipeg still trusts Jusba for no apparent reason.
